Administrative Assistant

I finally have an interview scheduled for the promotion I am applying for. It's scheduled for Wednesday 11/21/2007 at 9:30 AM. So, hopefully that means I'll have a new position and shift by the end of the month!! Everyone wish me luck and pray that I get this position if it's what Heavenly Father wants for me. I'm quite excited about that and then of course for thanksgiving.

Sisters

I'm so excited to see Audra next week!! If only I had a chance to see both my sisters, that would make things even more exciting. Being away from so much of my family has been hard for these past 3 and a half years but it certainly makes me appreciate the time I can spend with them.

My Fiasco

Yeah, I woke up this morning at 7 AM so I could make chicken and dumplings for a potluck my team at work had today. It was smelled wonderful but was rather time consuming. When it was time to go to work I had plenty of time to go to Big Lots first to buy bowls in which to serve the food. Well, Big Lots didn't have bowls so I bought cups to eat from instead, not a huge deal but not what I had wanted. I bought the cups and drove to work. At Mainsgate Rd, for those of you who don't know it's the road right next to T-Mobile's parking lot, some jerk slammed on his brakes and turned without a signal. Of course I had to be the car driving behind and had to slam the brakes as well. This caused the lid to slide off the crock pot on my passenger side floorboard and half of the food spill on the floor. When I parked I tried to clean up as much as I could and in so doing I didn't have a close enough eye on my watch and was 2 minutes late for work. No big thing many of you are saying, but I am applying for a new position and it doesn't look so good on my application to be late. Hopefully they won't put too much weight on tardiness. ;) Now, if any of you ride in my car anytime soon, this is an explanation of why it smells like chicken.

New Calling

Like everyone says the Lord knows us better than we know ourselves. Well I guess this must be the case with me because today I was released from my calling in the Primary. I've been in the primary since I was 18 except for the brief stints I had in a student ward at BYU-Idaho. My new calling is as Relief Society Secretary, which should be nice because I'll be working with Jeremy's mom who is our Relief Society President. I know so little about this organization but I'm sure I'll learn quickly and the Lord will qualify me and give me the skills I lack. Such as organizational skills. ;)

Hello

So, everyone keeps telling me I ought to start a blog, so here's the result. The picture is there just because it makes me wish I was at a beach in the warm sand instead of curled in a blanket. So my day was pretty ordinary. I went to work at good ole' T-Mobile. They gave flu shots today and I had mine and it feels like someone punched me in the arm now. Jeremy locked his keys in the truck during class tonight so I had to run to the rescue when I got off work. After that, I went to a partylite show at Chris' home. It was a nice party, and I of course, spent more money than I should have at it. That always happens when I go to an all girls party.
